Location: Washington, MO
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Employment Type: Contingent (potential pathway for hire)
Schedule: 8:30am–5:00pm

What You'll Do

  • Collect blood specimens safely and accurately from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations
  • Perform specimen processing and preparation following established clinical and forensic procedures
  • Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures to confirm specimen labeling accuracy
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service by explaining procedures and helping patients feel at ease
  • Support multiple locations and adapt to changing schedules and business needs

What We're Looking For

  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • Strong phlebotomy and specimen handling skills in a high-volume environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Prior experience in a Patient Service Center preferred
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel between locations
  • Flexibility for weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call needs
  • Keyboarding/data entry proficiency
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and exercise sound judgment
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
