Location: Atidaynu Our Future School
Schedule: 9am-5pm
Pay Rate: $90,000-$110,000

Now, we’re looking to expand our team with a dedicated and dynamic Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping students thrive.

Who We’re Looking For:
Physical Therapist (PT/DPT or PTA) The ideal candidate is creative, collaborative, and student-centered—ready to support learners in developing the functional mobility, gross motor skills, and balance needed for success across all learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development with a focus on gross motor development, functional mobility, and safe environmental access.

Develop and implement individualized and small-group physical therapy sessions.

Collaborate closely with educators, BCBAs, and families to support safe and functional mobility and independence.

Develop strategies for safe navigation of the school environment (e.g., stairs, bus, playground).

Provide consultation to staff on proper positioning, mobility techniques, and safe lifting/transferring to support students’ needs throughout the school day.

Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and school policies.
Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of New York.

Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays (preferred).

Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
