Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate new suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies and favorable agreements.
- Place purchase orders and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production and planning to optimize stock and minimize obsolescence.
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, and invoicing discrepancies promptly.
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and risk factors to inform procurement strategies.
Recommended Qualifications
- 3-5 years of direct purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for order management and inventory control.
- Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Proven track record in cost reduction and supply chain optimization initiatives.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
- Experience with international sourcing and global logistics.
- Advanced proficiency in a major ERP system's procurement modules (e.g., SAP MM, Oracle SCM).
