Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Illinois or compact state.
• Minimum one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical patient care setting.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population on a Med-Surg floor.
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to implement patient care plans.
• Accurately administer medications and monitor treatment responses.
• Assess, monitor, and document patients’ conditions, promptly reporting any changes.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and recovery plans.
• Maintain compliance with all protocols, policies, and regulations ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.
