Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced MRI Technologist skilled in magnetic resonance imaging techniques and patient-centered care. In this role, you will perform MRI procedures and related techniques to produce detailed diagnostic images that assist physicians in accurate interpretation and diagnosis. Flexibility is important in this position, as you will work various shiftsranging from 8-hour to 12-hour shiftswith occasional weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations, supporting the dynamic needs of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders, ensuring quality and safety.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging, providing clear instructions to reduce anxiety.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including surface coils and physiologic gating devices, selecting appropriate sequences aligned with protocols.
  • Administer contrast media and perform venipuncture as needed.
  • Maintain radiology information systems, document procedures, and submit images for physician review.
  • Assist physicians with interventional MRI procedures.
  • Adhere to aseptic techniques, magnetic resonance safety principles, and universal precautions.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and troubleshoot imaging parameters.
  • Provide practical instruction to partners and students as appropriate.
  • Respond promptly with basic life support when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Proven experience as an MRI Technologist.
  • ARRT Radiography registration.
  • ARRT MRI registration.
  • Current CPR or BLS certification.
