Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for an experienced Radiation Therapist specializing in Radiation Therapy, available on a contract basis in Baraboo, WI. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties, providing a predictable work-life balance in a clinical setting focused on advanced radiation oncology treatments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
- Current ARRT-T certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience with SBRT, VMAT, IMRT, and IGRT, including CBCT, KV Imaging, and SGRT techniques
- Familiarity with Varian True Beam equipment and treatment planning/documentation systems such as Aria, Epic, and Eclipse
- Willingness to comply with facility-specific safety protocols, including shaving for mask fit testing (no CAPRs or PAPRs allowed)
- Successful candidates must be open to first-time travel assignments
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts
- Primary hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shifts
Responsibilities:
- Deliver precise radiation therapy treatments using state-of-the-art technologies
- Perform accurate patient setups without tattoos or marks, utilizing advanced imaging systems
- Collaborate with the oncology team to maintain high standards of patient care and safety
- Document patient treatment data in Aria, Epic, and Eclipse systems in compliance with clinical protocols
