KP Aviation is a leading international supplier and procurer of aftermarket aviation components and assets. We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the accurate receipt, inspection, tracking, storage, and movement of aviation parts and materials in accordance with established procedures, regulatory requirements, and company standards. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, traceability, and material integrity to support aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations.


Your role will take you to new heights, as you’ll be tasked with these essential job responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming aviation parts and materials to ensure condition, accuracy, and proper supporting documentation.
• Receive, record, and enter part and inventory data into the inventory management system with a high level of accuracy.
• Verify that all inventory records, part numbers, serial numbers, quantities, and trace documentation are complete and correct.
• Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy records of traceability and certification documents in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Locate, pick, and issue materials for inspection, maintenance, repair, or shipment.
• Package, label, and prepare materials for storage and outbound shipment to ensure protection and compliance.
• Clean, tag, and prepare parts as instructed per warehouse and quality procedures.
• Conduct physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities as directed.
• Relocate and consolidate materials to optimize warehouse space and inventory control.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and workstations.
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and quality assessments as required.
• Perform other warehouse, inventory, or operational duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have:


  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a stockroom/warehouse environment
  • Experience with inventory management a plus
  • Experience forklift operation required
  • Experience with dangerous goods and international shipping a plus
  • Experience in aviation a plus
  • Working knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and material handling processes.
  • Familiarity with aviation parts traceability, documentation, and record-keeping requirements preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and inventory or database systems
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, maintain, and review records and documentation for accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
