**This position is eligible for a $1500 bonus after the completion of the ninety (90) day introductory period.**
Job Title: Nurse (LVN)
Location: Rolling Hills Estates, CA (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM. Rotating weekends required every other weekend. When working the weekend, a day off during the week will be available to maintain a 5 x 40 schedule.
Compensation: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our clinical team at Mission Prep. As our nurse, you’ll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to support the medical and emotional needs of our adolescent clients. You will be responsible for a range of essential nursing duties and will play a vital role in fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nurse who is passionate about mental health and adolescent care.
This position will require the ability to obtain an LPN license for the state of Virginia. Must be willing to complete paperwork and background checks associated with that region. Coverage for Virginia will be remote only, and no travel will be required. Virginia duties will be on an as-needed basis.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes or concerns to medical staff

Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medication logs

Record and monitor vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and respiration

Support clients with basic healthcare needs and assist with medical assessments

Sterilize equipment and maintain proper infection control practices

Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary care discussions

Maintain complete and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)

Conduct medical chart audits to ensure accuracy and compliance

Schedule and track medical appointments, referrals, and follow-ups

Requisition and manage medical supplies and inventory

Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, including medication management and infection prevention

Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions
Qualifications and Skills

Active and unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California

Must be willing to obtain LPN licensure for Virginia (we will cover fees associated with paperwork and background checks).

Knowledge of medical and clinical terminology, especially related to behavioral health

Strong critical thinking, communication, and multi-tasking abilities

Proficiency in documentation and EHR systems

Familiarity with Joint Commission standards is a plus

Must pass background checks including DOJ/FBI Livescan and clearance through the California Department of Social Services
