Job DescriptionLHH has partnered with a growing healthcare organization in the Uptown Dallas area is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This is a fully onsite position offering the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on operational excellence and patient care support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices by receiving, verifying, and reconciling vendor payments
- Ensure accuracy of entries by comparing system reports to account balances
- Code and post expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers
- Manage vendor payments, including monitoring discount opportunities and resolving discrepancies
- Reconcile vendor statements and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Process employee expense reports and reimbursement requests
- Maintain and update accounting records and ledgers
- Handle credit memos, stop payments, and purchase order adjustments as needed
- Assist with petty cash tracking and documentation
- Support sales tax reporting by calculating applicable taxes on invoices
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records while ensuring confidentiality
- Assist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience (healthcare industry preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
