• Rotating weekends required

Job Duration: 13 Weeks (with possible extension)Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) to join a dynamic laboratory team. In this role, you will perform complex laboratory testing across multiple disciplines to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing in:
  • Hematology
  • Clinical Chemistry
  • Blood Bank
  • Serology
  • Coagulation
  • Urinalysis
  • Microbiology
• Conduct microscopic, bacteriologic, immunologic, and chemical analyses
• Process and accession specimens accurately
• Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments
• Perform and document quality control procedures
• Assist with training new staff and students
• Support general lab operations, including phlebotomy as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Florida Medical Technologist License (Generalist) – Required or in process
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
• MT/MLS Certification – Required prior to start
• Strong laboratory knowledge and technical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASCP certification or equivalent
• Prior Medical Technologist experience
