We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. This position requires expertise in operating, setting up, programming, and editing CNC machines within a job shop environment focused on milling operations. The role involves working with various materials, including stainless steel, aluminum, carbon, and zinc, particularly in very thin tubing formats. The position offers competitive hourly rates and availability for overtime, located in Louisville, OH.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC machines with a focus on milling operations.
- Program and edit CNC machines using Fanuc and MasterCam.
- Utilize G&M Code proficiently.
- Read blueprints and use calipers and micrometers for accurate tolerancing.
- Perform machining tasks on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon, and zinc materials.
- Conduct machine set-ups, tear-downs, tool changes, and basic machine upkeep.
- Create parts for machines in a job shop environment with daily set-ups.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of machining experience with mills and manual machines.
- Proficiency in machine set-ups and basic machine program edits.
- Understanding of G&M Code and Fanuc controls or similar.
- Ability to read blueprints and maintain tolerances using micrometers and calipers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or GED required.
- Lathe experience is a plus.
- Experience with MasterCAM is advantageous.
- Machining certifications or schooling is desirable.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.75/hr.
