Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer skilled in general ultrasound imaging and perinatal care. This travel position offers the chance to work closely with high-risk obstetric patients using advanced imaging equipment in a dynamic outpatient setting. The role requires a commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and flexibility within a supportive healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed perinatal ultrasound examinations including anatomy scans, Dopplers, transvaginal imaging, and AIUM-accredited procedures.
- Utilize Samsung Hera W10 and Samsung RS 85 Prestige equipment for precise imaging.
- Collaborate in a teaching hospital environment, contributing to patient care and education.
- Operate PACS, assist with amniocentesis, chronic villi sampling, and manage high-risk obstetric cases.
- Adhere to clients policies including zero tolerance for tardiness and unexcused absences.
- Be prepared to float occasionally between outpatient locations as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in OB/GYN ultrasound, specifically with maternal-fetal medicine (MFM).
- RDMS-OB certification with MFM expertise is mandatory.
- BLS certification required.
- Experienced in EPIC and AS OB reporting systems.
- Previous outpatient experience required; teaching hospital experience is a plus.
- AIUM accreditation highly preferred.
Schedule:
- 4x9.5-hour day shifts, rotating Monday to Friday (7:15 AM 4:45 PM).
- Occasional floats Monday & Wednesday to alternate locations (7:30 AM 5:00 PM).
- Rare floating weekends with 12-hour shifts available.
