TMD Staffing is looking to hire a Ultra Filtration Operator for a Food Manufacturing company in the Houston, TX area!
WORK ENVIRONMENT: In-Person, Manufacturing Food Processing Plant
PAY RATE: $18.00 per hour
SCHEDULE: Full-Time; Monday – Friday 1st shift. OT is Available! Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
ULTRA FILTRATION OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Start up and operate WPC whey processing ultra filtration machines as part of the daily production schedule used to make milk pasteurized products
Demonstrate good working knowledge of Ultra Filtration System
Complete preventative maintenance on separators, clarifier, pumps, valves, and membrane systems to ensure the continuous flow process from start to finish.
Use company computer to update and log flow process and production logs throughout the day
Report any food safety and food quality issues to management team
Maintain food processing production table while pasteurized products are manufactured.
Follow all FDA manufacturing practices and work in manner that is consistent with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
ULTRA FILTRATION OPERATOR QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Food Production Manufacturing experience required, Food Pasteurizing experience is preferred
Able to legibly write entries for production logs and record keeping
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Communication skills- must be able to read, write, and speak English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
