Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans using Philips Achieva and Siemens 1.5T Sola equipment, ensuring accurate and safe imaging for patients.
- Collaborate with medical teams to manage scanning of patients including those with implanted devices.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to hospital protocols and imaging standards.
- Participate in rotating weekend shifts and occasional float coverage between Bell and Cambridge locations.
- Complete required orientation and training to uphold facility standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting.
- Proficient in operation of Philips Achieva and Siemens MRI scanners.
- ARRT (MR) certification and current BLS certification required.
- Prior travel MRI experience of at least 1 year preferred.
- Able to work 12-hour night shifts (18:30-07:00) in a rotating schedule.
- Strong skills in scanning patients with implanted devices.
- Nicotine-free facility compliance.
Additional Details:
- 2-day orientation scheduled during the first week.
- Weekend rotation required; on-call not mandatory but available.
- Holidays not mandatory; compensation adjusted if holiday occurs on a scheduled shift.
- Bi-weekly payroll and 8 hours of non-billable orientation.
