Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans using Philips Achieva and Siemens 1.5T Sola equipment, ensuring accurate and safe imaging for patients.
  • Collaborate with medical teams to manage scanning of patients including those with implanted devices.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort, adhering to hospital protocols and imaging standards.
  • Participate in rotating weekend shifts and occasional float coverage between Bell and Cambridge locations.
  • Complete required orientation and training to uphold facility standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years MRI technologist experience in a hospital setting.
  • Proficient in operation of Philips Achieva and Siemens MRI scanners.
  • ARRT (MR) certification and current BLS certification required.
  • Prior travel MRI experience of at least 1 year preferred.
  • Able to work 12-hour night shifts (18:30-07:00) in a rotating schedule.
  • Strong skills in scanning patients with implanted devices.
  • Nicotine-free facility compliance.

Additional Details:

  • 2-day orientation scheduled during the first week.
  • Weekend rotation required; on-call not mandatory but available.
  • Holidays not mandatory; compensation adjusted if holiday occurs on a scheduled shift.
  • Bi-weekly payroll and 8 hours of non-billable orientation.
