Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (Middle School)

Location: Landover, MD 20785
Schedule: Part-Time 21 hours/week | On-Site
Dates: ASAP - June 12th, 2026
Salary Range: $50 - $60/hour (depending on experience)

About the Role:

AnthroMed Education is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve middle school aged students through a school placement in the Landover area. This is a school in a specialized setting supporting students who need more support than a traditional school can provide. This school is known for their supportive and collaborative environment, dedicated to the success of their staff and students alike.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language services to students with a variety of communication needs

• Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with educational teams

• Address speech/language delays, articulation and fluency disorders, cognitive delays, and Autism

• Complete required documentation, progress monitoring, and data collection

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP conferences

Caseload Details:

• Severe-profound disabilities, approximately 20-25 students
• This school is a specialized setting that supports students who needed more specialized care than their local school could provide
• Part-time position with the K-8th graders, however, an additional 4 hours are available with the high school students, also at the Landover campus
• Familiarity with behavior management, Autism, and AAC is strongly preferred
• Most of the services needed are for students with Autism
• Experience with push-in and whole group service delivery is preferred

Qualifications:

• MD DOH SLP License

• School-based experience preferred, but not required

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
