Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing tax planning and compliance services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including high net worth individuals and corporate entities. The Tax Senior will leverage their expertise in tax regulations, financial reporting, and IRS compliance to deliver exceptional service and support our clients' financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with IRS regulations and state tax laws.
  • Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for high net worth individuals, partnerships, and corporations (1040, 1120, 1120S, 990).
  • Assist in tax planning strategies for clients to minimize liabilities and maximize financial outcomes.
  • Perform tax audits and represent clients in front of tax authorities as needed.
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accurate tax reporting.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide guidance on corporate tax, partnership tax, and private equity matters.
  • Utilize accounting principles and software such as SAP to enhance service delivery and reporting accuracy.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in tax legislation affecting clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, with a focus on corporate and individual tax.
  • Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and tax compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting, including GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Experience with tax software and tools such as SAP and advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
