Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Neuro Surgical RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Newburgh, Indiana. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive hospital enviment while exploring a vibrant and scenic town along the Ohio River.

Job Details:

• Title: Travel Neuro Surgical RN

• Location: Newburgh, IN

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Shift: 12-hour nights

• Hours per Week: 36

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to post-op neurosurgical patients

• Monitor neurological status and report changes promptly

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams

• Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Adhere to hospital policies and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Indiana or compact state

• Minimum 2 years of recent neuro/surgical nursing experience

• BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)

• Stg neuro assessment and critical thinking skills

• Previous travel experience is a plus
