Oversee all day-to-day shop operations to ensure smooth, efficient workflow

Manage vehicle flow from check-in through delivery to maximize productivity and minimize downtime

Lead, train, coach, and motivate technicians, foremen, and service advisors

Hold team members accountable to performance, quality, and productivity standards
-
Conduct daily meetings, workflow reviews, and performance check-ins
-
Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and disciplinary actions when necessary
-
Ensure all repairs, diagnostics, and inspections meet company and industry standards
-
Review work orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
-
Assist with difficult diagnostics or repair decisions when needed
-
Enforce proper use of tools, equipment, and shop procedures
-
Support service advisors with customer concerns, and complex explanations
-
Ensure clear communication between the front office and technicians
-
Maintain high customer satisfaction and handle any issues professionally
-
Ensure vehicles are delivered on time and repaired right the first time
-
Monitor efficiency, and overall shop profitability
-
Work with ownership to meet and exceed monthly and yearly performance goals

Control expenses, comebacks, and warranty work
-
Track and report shop performance metrics

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and shop policies

Oversee maintenance of shop equipment and tools
