We are looking for an experienced HR Director to join our team in Portland, Oregon, on a contract basis through the first week of November, with potential for extension. This role is critical in overseeing human resource functions, ensuring compliance, and fostering positive employee relations within the organization. Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage all aspects of employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts to promote a positive work environment.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and legal compliance.
• Administer HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining personnel records.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, implementing policies that adhere to industry standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute HR strategies that support the organization's goals.
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, fostering a culture of trust and engagement.
• Utilize Paycom software to streamline HR processes and maintain accurate records.
• Manage benefit functions, including enrollment, updates, and employee communications.
• Proven experience in employee relations, with the ability to handle sensitive situations effectively.
• Strong familiarity with HR systems, including Paycom, and their application in daily operations.
• Previous experience in non-profit or healthcare industries is essential.
