- Garden City: $90,000 – $130,000/year
- Jamaica: $90,000 – $105,000/year

About the Role:
We are seeking Senior Accountants with strong healthcare or hospital accounting experience to join dynamic teams in Garden City and Jamaica, NY. In this role, you will handle key accounting functions and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations
- Track fixed assets, prepaid assets, construction in progress, and capital leases
- Analyze general ledger accounts and prepare supporting schedules for monthly and year-end close
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and assist with external audits
- Perform account analysis and complete detailed work papers
- Support ad-hoc projects and other assigned duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Healthcare or hospital accounting experience is a must
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Infor or ADP is a strong plus
- Highly organized with excellent communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
