LOCATION: Eastman, GA (Dodge County)
The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia’s Eastman Annex services both Child & Adolescents as well as Adults with Behavioral Health Diagnoses. The Treatment Engagement Specialist/Clerk will handle all administrative tasks as well as assist any mental health or medical staff as needed. CSBMG is seeking a professional individual who has strong communication skills and provides exceptional customer service. Overall, this is a fast-paced and high-volume position that heavily features the use of phone correspondence.
Responsibilities of the Treatment Engagement Specialist/Clerk
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external contacts and clients.
- Communicate effectively with staff across various programs.
Duties will vary based on clinical and agency needs and will include:
- Answering telephones, screening calls, forwarding, and taking messages.
- Scheduling clients for all staff.
- Performing administrative tasks such as handling packages, mail, filing paperwork, faxing, and photocopying.
- Providing general administrative support to program staff.
- Assist with maintaining the building, including coordinating office services such as maintenance and cleaning.
Provide basic case management support, which may include:
- Assisting clients with completing forms, gathering required documents, and navigating internal processes.
- Conducting follow-up calls to check on client needs, appointment reminders, or service coordination.
- Supporting staff in coordinating referrals or collecting information needed for services.
Complete accurate and timely documentation, including:
- Entering client interactions, updates, and outcomes into electronic systems.
- Maintaining organized records and ensuring documentation meets agency standards.
- Other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities
- Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products
- Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly
Here’s what would put you over the top:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc.)
- Previous secretary or administrative experience
- Previous case management experience
