Are you a public accounting professional who values work/life balance? This well-established West Houston CPA firm is hiring a Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Manager (DOE). You’ll work alongside supportive firm ownership that values work/life balance too.
Position Highlights:

Qualifications:
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in public accounting
- Strong technical knowledge in tax and accounting
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and non-profit tax returns using UltraTax
- Supervise, train, and review work of a team of five Staff Accountants
- Prepare and review write-up work in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- Maintain familiarity with payroll transaction processing, forms, and reconciliations (dedicated payroll staff in place)
- Engage directly with clients in person, by phone, and electronically
