What You Will Tackle:
- Collaborate closely with engineers to support the engineering workflow associated with conveying key information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate actively in the maintenance, repair, and calibration processes for electronic instruments and control panels, leveraging advanced troubleshooting methods.
What a Typical Day Includes:
- Decipher technical drawings, compile project material lists, and interpret production specifications.
- Construct and assemble wiring systems, ensuring all subassemblies are accurately built.
- Conduct baseline continuity checks and address required modifications or repairs promptly.
- Regularly service and maintain various electronic devices and instruments.
- Effectively utilize testing and calibration equipment specific to electronic tasks.
- Carry out soldering and crimping assignments when necessary.
- Partner with more experienced professionals to enhance project execution.
- Meticulously record and certify completed work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An Associate degree in Electronics or Electrical studies.
- Substitutes for formal education include notable technical training programs such as the Naval Nuclear initiative or equivalent military paths.
