Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide services in an early childhood school setting located near Aurora, CO. This contract position spans the current school year and offers 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will serve a diverse caseload of school-aged children with varying disabilities, supporting their communication development through evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic services to children with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor progress and adjust goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and licensing requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall educational planning process.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license required; candidates with licenses in process will be considered.
  • ASHA certification preferred; those holding Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status are eligible.
  • DORA license is not required for this position.
  • Experience working in school-based settings with school-aged children preferred.
  • Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Location:

  • Early childhood school near Aurora, Colorado, just outside of Denver.

Work Schedule:

  • 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
