Job Description1st Shift Mechanical Assembler
Pay: $21–$24/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble custom water purification systems using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Measure, cut, and assemble piping, including PVC, stainless steel, copper, and galvanized materials.
- Mount, fit, and secure mechanical components to frames and structures.
- Conduct quality inspections and testing of completed assemblies.
- Fabricate and modify components according to specifications.
- Prepare finished products for packaging and shipment.
- Assist with material handling, inventory organization, and shop housekeeping.
- Maintain quality, safety, and production standards throughout the assembly process.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of mechanical assembly, construction, manufacturing, or related experience.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, or technical drawings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Modern, indoor production facility.
- Climate-controlled and clean shop environment.
- Team-based custom assembly projects.
- Daily use of hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and blueprints.
- Requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing hands-on assembly throughout the shift.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
