Job description
We’re seeking a reliable and responsive Marketing Coordinator to manage the day-to-day execution of social media and support events across the country. You won’t be responsible for creating the visual content—but you’ll write captions, schedule posts, and ensure everything publishes correctly. You’ll also manage customer interactions on social media, often outside normal business hours. In addition, you’ll support our event operations, helping us execute demos, trade shows, and dealer activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Write captions and schedule social media posts using tools like Meta Business Suite or Buffer (visual content will be provided).
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions on all platforms—including after business hours—with an appropriate brand voice.
- Track social engagement metrics and provide reporting to the marketing team.
- Support event planning and logistics, including travel coordination, booth setup, inventory shipping, and follow-up.
- Assist with basic website updates through Adobe Commerce (no coding required).
- Help manage digital assets and provide general administrative support to the marketing department.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a social media coordination or community management role.
- Strong writing skills and the ability to match a defined brand voice.
- Comfortable working independently and responding quickly to digital interactions, even after hours.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Familiarity with social platforms and scheduling tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including some weekends.
- Familiarity with or interest in the firearms industry is required.
