BCforward is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mortgage Closer I
Position: Mortgage Closer I
Worksite: 5001 Kingsley Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45227
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $31/hr W2
Must Have
Experience in mortgage loan servicing required. Desired degrees: Business, IT, Accounting, Finance and Economics
Minimum 1-2 years advanced level relevant transaction related experience preferred.
Knowledge of the fundamental concepts related to retail servicing transactions along with the ability to apply that knowledge in a quality control function.
Job Description -
Full loan file review of various mortgage loan product products to confirm the transaction meets published Bank and Investor credit policy requirements.
Reviews all data elements and documentation pertaining to the servicing of the loan or product.
Review of Bank and various agency product guides and policies, which also requires knowledge of servicing guidelines as the quality control review is performed on a lagged basis.
Documents work and research performed. Prepares a clear, concise report of loan level test results including details of moderate and significant findings on a file-by-file basis to be distributed to appropriate internal parties.
Tracks and escalates trending concerns to QC Manager or Director.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Experience in mortgage loan servicing required. Desired degrees: Business, IT, Accounting, Finance and Economics
Minimum 1-2 years advanced level relevant transaction related experience preferred.
Knowledge of the fundamental concepts related to retail servicing transactions along with the ability to apply that knowledge in a quality control function.
Knowledge of the Bank's, Investors' and Government Program guidelines, as well as policy, legal and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of common and standard banking documentation and terminology.
Must be analytical and possess ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations across a complex business.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work efficiently with a low margin of error.
