A Service Technician for Authorized Grain Service, LLC (AGS) will service all clients across the United States with service, installation, training & replacement parts on grain sampling equipment in the Agricultural
Industry. This position will also include occasional operations of the warehouse here in Kettering, OH.
AGS provides service & reliable machinery for the grain industry with experienced technicians and top brands to ensure peak performance and longevity.
Key Duties (Include but will not be limited to):
• Performing PM oil changes
• Perform other services on grain sampling equipment
• Diagnose equipment failures
• Conducting installations for equipment
• Providing parts to customers
• Communicating with clients
• Operating a forklift and manlift
• Proficient in operating power tools
• Occasional refurbishing of used equipment
Education & Experience:
• High School Education or Equivalent (GED)
• 1-3 years of experience in service technician duties, including hydraulics.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Preferred to be knowledgeable and proficient in using power tools
• Preferred to have forklift certification
• Preferred to have certification in operating lift equipment (MEWP)
• OSHA 30 preferred but not required
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Time management & organizational skills
• Being focused & maintaining attention to detail
• Ability to be resourceful and exhibit effective problem-solving skills
• Self-motivation skills
• Meet the physical strength & agility and environmental (weather) requirements to do the job on the ground as well as at heights
• Perform well in high pressure scenarios
Position Details:
• Full-time, non-exempt position.
• Pay Range: $25-35 per hr. (Based on experience)
• Requires travel & a valid license in good standing (Ohio Driver’s License)
• Requires good credit standing (Company Credit Card)
• 6 Paid Holidays

• PTO (13 days per year)
