Position Summary:
Weigh and grade all incoming ingredients, account for all deliveries, answer phone calls and help with customer service and logistics issues. In addition, assist merchandiser and procurement duties as requested or needed.
Essential Functions:
- Weigh and grade all incoming ingredients and products, and account for all deliveries and receipts.
- Answer incoming calls and help with customer service and logistics issues.
- Maintain the scale and office in an orderly fashion.
- Help with cleaning inside and outside of Eaton Feed Mill as needed
- Ensure all safety policies and procedures established by Agfinity are followed.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Ability to workdays during harvest
- A high level of teamwork, coordination, and communication is required for this position.
Knowledge:
- Prior agricultural background preferred
- Exposure to grains and grain handling environment.
Skills:
- Average Math skills, above average communication skills.
- Computer literate, capable of working in a fast paced, task structured environment.
- Strong organizational skills
Reasoning ability:
- Ability to communicate with managers and customers.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for long hours
