Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Float- Port St. Lucie, Stuart, Tradition, FL area
Full-Time | MondayFriday | On-Site
Florida Cardiovascular Partners is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team in the Port St Lucie, FL area. This is a permanent, floating position supporting our cardiology providers with patient care, clinical procedures, and smooth daily workflow. The locations will cover the Port St Lucie, Stuart, and Tradition offices.
Responsibilities
- Greet, room, and prepare patients for exams
- Record vital signs and perform ECGs
- Update patient histories and medication lists
- Assist providers with minor in-office procedures
- Document accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical safety standards
- Support efficient patient flow and a positive patient experience
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required
- BLS Certification Preferred
- Minimum2 years of CMA experience
- Cardiology or specialty care experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems and medical terminology
Preferred Experience
- EHR documentation (1+ year)
- Recording vital signs (1+ year)
