The Mission
Maintain and improve the performance of complex, automated manufacturing equipment by applying multi-craft expertise—mechanical, electrical/electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic—while leading with safety and urgency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PMs on production equipment; document findings and corrective actions.
- Safely troubleshoot live electrical panels and resolve issues across 120/208/240/480 VAC systems.
- Participate in problem-solving groups, Kaizens, and lean initiatives; contribute to achieving maintenance KPIs.
- Learn and support processes including thermal forming, adhesive and molding, Isocyanate foam, high-pressure water cutting, and assembly operations.
- Operate Powered Industrial Trucks, aerial lifts, and cranes as work requires.
- Edit/modify programs on A-B SLC-500 and ControlLogix platforms; configure PanelView/PanelView Plus HMIs.
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a manufacturing maintenance department and 3+ years with automated machinery.
- Strong mechanical background; can read machine drawings and control schematics.
- Proficient with machining tools, powered hand tools, and common maintenance equipment.
- Willing to work overtime and any production shift; overtime beyond 40 hours/week is an essential function.
- Bonus skills: Fanuc/Motoman/ABB robotics; electrical journeyman card; TPM; smart camera systems (Keyence, Cognex, Banner).
