Collaborating with a leading AI research lab to partner with experienced chemistry experts on advanced model development initiatives. The project focuses on improving AI systems understanding of chemical principles, reactions, and real-world laboratory reasoning. Contributors will apply their subject-matter expertise to help evaluate, refine, and generate high-quality chemistry content used in frontier AI research.
Key Responsibilities

Develop realistic, domain-appropriate chemistry tasks spanning organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, or computational chemistry

Review AI-generated answers for conceptual soundness, accuracy, and adherence to accepted chemical theory

Author original chemistry questions, scenarios, or datasets across relevant subfields

Flag incorrect logic, flawed assumptions, or computational errors in model outputs

Provide structured feedback to support iterative model improvement
Ideal Qualifications

Advanced degree (PhD or MS) in Chemistry or a closely related field.

3+ years of experience with research, teaching, or applied chemistry in academic or industrial settings

Excellent written communication and analytical reasoning skills

Strong written communication skills and attention to scientific detail
