Position: Sheet Metal Fabricator

The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for safely setting up and operating both CNC and manual sheet‑metal equipment to produce precision‑built components. This position requires mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet quality and productivity expectations in a fast‑paced environment.

Core Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC press brakes as well as CNC laser equipment

  • Run manual sheet‑metal machinery

  • Perform cutting and shaping of raw metal into finished components

  • Use measurement tools and equipment to ensure accuracy within print tolerances

  • Minimize scrap and quality notifications through consistent workmanship

  • Complete frequent changeovers, troubleshooting, and machine adjustments

  • Effectively perform at least two fabrication processes within the department

  • Assist other operators with understanding quality standards

  • Support positive change and continuous improvement efforts on the production floor

Required Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Sheet‑metal fabrication experience preferred

  • Previous press‑brake operating experience preferred

  • Vocational or technical sheet‑metal training preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for 90% of the shift

  • Frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching

  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs (average part weight 5–15 lbs)

  • Strong manual dexterity

Shifts & Hours

2nd Shift:
3:00 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday–Thursday

Pay Rate

$20.96 – $24.47 per hour + Shift Differential, depending on experience

Pay Details: $20.96 to $24.47 per hour
