We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our small but growing team. This position requires a friendly and fun individual who works hard and follows through on commitments. Please note, this is a temporary/contract position.
Responsibilities
- Build and test transducer subassemblies, requiring judgment in resolving problems and making recommendations.
- Focus on producing array assemblies at the Stackbond, test, and Lensing steps, with visual inspections and tests at various stages.
- Weigh, mix, and dispense epoxies, fillers, and silicones using analytical balance and automated mixing equipment.
- Consume and track computer data in electronic device history records.
- Set up and operate production equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory, testing, and work in process.
- Set up and properly utilize hardware, tools, and fixtures to complete assignments.
- Coordinate with Engineering to troubleshoot equipment, device, or product issues.
- Help implement and maintain LEAN initiatives, including Visual Factory, 5S, and Continuous Improvement.
Essential Skills
- At least 2 years of experience as an assembler, operator, or technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic and mechanical hand tools and power tools.
- Comfortable using computers and application software, with the ability to navigate various programs.
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes, raw materials, production, and quality control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with aerospace, electronic, or medical devices.
- Experience mixing chemicals and/or epoxy.
- Ability to work under a microscope and use torque tools and wrenches.
- Experience interacting with engineering teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of REDMOND, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
