Summary: Performs a variety of hands-on production tasks in a manufacturing environment, including material handling, machine operation support, basic fabrication, and quality inspection, to keep the production floor running efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned.
- Lifts, positions, and moves materials and work pieces as directed
- Assists with machine setup and operation under supervision
- Repositions parts during processing to ensure accurate results
- Grinds, deburrs, and removes sharp edges from finished parts
- Inspects parts per job procedures to ensure quality standards are met
- Performs basic bending, straightening, and forming tasks on metal components
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Follows all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred; no prior experience required. One to three months of related experience or training is a plus.
Language Skills: Ability to read and follow basic written and verbal instructions.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply common sense to routine tasks in a structured environment.
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods, reach with hands and arms, and regularly lift up to 10 pounds, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required.
Work Environment: Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts, occasional vibration, and loud noise levels.
