We are seeking an Administrative Travel & Logistics Coordinator for a manufacturing and construction company in the East Houston/Wallisville area. This position will support the Travel and Logistics by coordinating lodging, transportation, flights, and per diem-related travel support as needed, while maintaining daily communication with field leaders and operations teams. Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Travel and Logistics department with daily administrative tasks
• Assist with coordinating hotel accommodations, transportation, flights, and long-term lodging
• Create, update, and change travel itineraries and reservations
• Monitor lodging accommodations and last-minute changes
• Communicate daily with construction field leaders and operations teams
• Coordinate freight requests and shipment documents
• Identify and select safe, reputable carriers for freight services
• Submit purchase orders and maintain accurate records
• Provide after-hours support for travelers as needed
• Help improve efficiency, organization, and cost savings within the department
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM
Requirements:
• Strong computer skills required
• Strong can-do attitude
• Advanced Excel knowledge preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and email communication
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Strong sense of urgency with last-minute requests, cancellations, and changes
• Excellent communication skills by phone and email
• Reliable, dependable, and strong work ethic
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed
• Must live near the 610 and I-10 East area
