Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a school setting located in Penn Valley, CA, supporting children with diverse communication needs. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic educational environment, delivering both in-person and teletherapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Facilitate therapy sessions focusing on achieving targeted speech and language goals
- Accurately track and document student progress and therapy outcomes
- Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure integrated care
- Involve and educate families to support therapy goals and promote communication development
Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations highly desired
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
