Position Overview:
As a Brand Ambassador, you’ll engage with Costco Members, introduce them to our shading solutions, and generate qualified leads for our sales team. You’ll be the face of The Blind Butler, Inc and our partner brands, ensuring every member has a positive and professional experience.
Responsibilities:
Engage with Costco Members in a friendly and approachable manner. Explain the features and benefits of Graber and SunSetter products. Promote brand awareness and generate qualified leads
Maintain a clean and professional booth/display area. Report daily leads and performance to management. Represent The Blind Butler, Inc with enthusiasm and integrity.
Set up displays on Thursday morning shifts and take down displays on Monday evening shifts, returning materials to the office. Travel and work across five Costco locations: Fairfield, Vacaville, Woodland, Napa, and Vallejo. Be flexible, as the assigned warehouse can change weekly depending on scheduling.
Schedule:
This position includes shifts inside Costco Warehouses during scheduled Roadshows, as well as optional kiosk hours near the exit. Roadshow Shift Hours: Thursday, Friday, Monday: 8:30 AM – 2:30 PM or 2:30 PM – 8:30 PM. Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. With two Brand Ambassadors being hired, weekend shifts will be alternated: One person will work Saturday one week, then Sunday the next week. This rotation ensures both employees share weekend responsibilities evenly.
Applicants must be flexible and willing to work either morning or afternoon shifts, depending on company needs. Employees can expect to work approximately 26–32 hours per week. Additional Kiosk Hours (Optional): On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Brand Ambassadors may work at the Costco exit kiosks at their leisure. Shifts must be a minimum of 4 hours and no more than 8 hours per day.
Compensation:
$22.00/hour base pay$10 commission for each qualified lead that results in a scheduled appointment.
Qualifications:
Outgoing and comfortable talking to the public. Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance. Ability to stand for extended periods and work independently. Flexible and willing to work all assigned Roadshow shifts. Able to set up and take down displays as required. Previous sales or customer service experience preferred (not required). Must be 18 years or older. Background checks are required.
