We are looking for a Government Affairs Director of Project Management to join our growing team.

About the role
The Government Affairs Project Management Director will report to the Chief Government Affairs Officer and will be responsible for developing, managing, planning, monitoring, and reporting on key government affairs projects and market development activities. This role will oversee project details, reporting, and communications to successfully drive various government affairs initiatives and entrance into new markets.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and monitor government affairs projects from concept through implementation.
- Support the Chief Government Affairs Officer and Directors of Local Government Affairs in developing and tracking new market entry activities including obtaining agreements, managing related documents, and maintaining tracking systems.
- Respond to compliance requests from external and internal stakeholders.
- Generate reports, charts, and spreadsheets to assist internal representatives in reviewing local and state entry requirements.
- Assist in creating and maintaining libraries, folders, and trackers in SharePoint to support government affairs documentation.
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of assigned projects and market entry requirements.
- Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards aligned with leadership expectations.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to internal stakeholders, gathering feedback to drive project success.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and uphold confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Serve as a liaison between internal/external stakeholders, state and federal agencies, and vendors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data, legislation, regulations, contracts, and legal documents.
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency with personal computers and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Publishing, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
- Demonstrates high integrity, discretion, and ethical standards in handling sensitive matters.
- Knowledge of cable, telecommunications, broadband products, services, and related regulations is preferred.
Education
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
Working Conditions:
- Office environment.
- Some travel required.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance expected.
