Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive HR Assistant to join our team. As an HR Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operations of the HR department, with a focus on HR data management, compliance, ensuring smooth HR processes and providing excellent service to employees. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their career in human resources.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and maintaining HR-related documents, such as employee records, new hire paperwork, and other HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.
  • Maintain employee personnel files, updating employee digital files and databases, and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientations, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Conduct background checks and drug screenings for new hires in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees, providing timely and accurate information or escalating issues as needed.
  • Assign required trainings to new hires and track completion status, ensuring compliance with company training standards.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating HR software, employee databases, and filing systems.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to support various projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferred study in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an HR coordinator, HR assistant, or related HR administrative experience.
  • Familiarity with HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Exceptional problem-solving and detail-oriented skills and proactive with ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience. Proficient with HRIS systems preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at an office desk on the computer.
  • Lifting: Able to lift up to 15lbs.

Pay range$23—$28 USD
