Pay Rate: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (strong possibility of extension; covering a leave of absence)

Position Overview
The Patient Support Coordinator II provides administrative and patient coordination support within a hospital-based specialty clinic. This role is responsible for managing new and follow-up patient scheduling, processing referrals, supporting infusion coordination, and ensuring timely communication within the EMR system. The ideal candidate has prior healthcare experience, is bilingual in English and Spanish, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Prior healthcare experience (hospital or clinic setting)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting Multiple Sclerosis (MS) programs or infusion services
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate new and follow-up patient appointments, with a primary focus on new patients
- Collaborate with MS coordinators and clinical staff to support infusion services
- Obtain, upload, and manage external medical records and imaging
- Coordinate referred ancillary services and specialty consultations for in-clinic and telemedicine patients
- Process inbound ARM referrals for review and enter faxed referrals into the system
- Manage rescheduling requests, including Lumeon cancellations and 60-day bump requests
- Monitor and respond to Cerner messages (individual and appointment pools)
- Update and verify insurance information and process changes as needed
- Obtain authorizations for add-on services
