Salary Range: $49,000 - $76,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations according to established procedures and specifications.
- Inspect welds for quality, completeness, and adherence to standards.
- Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjustments and basic maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
- Identify and report defective materials or weld inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve welding issues.
- Document welding activities and production data accurately.
Recommended Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding preferred.
- Proven experience as a welder, with proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and equipment operation.
- Experience with quality control and inspection of welds.
- Familiarity with different types of metals and their welding properties.
Bonus Qualifications
- - Experience with automated welding systems (e.g., robotic welding, seam welding).
- - Certified welding inspector (CWI) or similar certification.
- - Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- - Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing welding equipment.
- - Experience with various welding processes beyond SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW (e.g., FCAW, SAW).
