Cardiac Registered Nurse
Location: Detroit, MI 48236
Pay: $57.00 - $65.00 per hour
Duration: 13 weeks

- Certification: BLS
- Block Schedule: Yes
- On-Call: Yes (48 hours of call per six week schedule. Must be available 1 weekend per month)
SHIFT TIMES
· 6am-2:30pm, 6am-4:30pm, or 6am-6:30pm,
- There is an option for five 8's, four 10's, or three 12's with a 6am start time.
- 48 hours of call in a 6-week schedule period required.
DUTIES
· Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Must Have: Cardiac Scrub experience
EDUCATION
· Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
· Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
· Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
