We are looking for a Medical Billing & Coding Adjunct Instructor(Remote).
Our Medical Assistant Technician Diploma Program is designed to prepare students to obtain entry-level employment as medical assistant technicians. This program provides students with the opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills, both in the classroom and through supervised clinical practice or a capstone experience. The students learn how to prepare patients for various technical examinations, such as EKGs and phlebotomy, as well as how to perform several such procedures.
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma required. An associate's degree in a health care field is preferred.
- Completed Diploma in Medical Billing and Coding, or Insurance.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Certificate.
- Completed a post-secondary training as a Medical Assistant, and three years of work experience at a minimum.
- Prefer: Prior experience teaching in an online format or remote-live platform.
