Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is a skilled Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a hospital setting. This role involves operating radiographic equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging for physician interpretation, and maintaining patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray and related radiology exams) as ordered by physicians
- Accurately position patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate radiology equipment safely in accordance with hospital protocols
- Adhere to radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff
- Verify patient identity and review imaging orders prior to procedures
- Ensure proper image labeling and accurate documentation
- Assist physicians and radiologists during procedures when required
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging equipment and work areas
- Communicate procedures clearly to patients to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Follow infection control policies and safety standards
- Coordinate with radiology staff to ensure efficient patient workflow
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (preferred)
- ARRT certification (preferred/required per facility guidelines)
- Massachusetts state licensure (if applicable)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred/required)
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, and occasional holidays
