Summary
We seek innovative, professional, reliable candidates to join our team to implement a high quality play-based and nature-based early childhood curriculum. Candidate must have good communication skills, willingness to learn, and a strong interest in developing meaningful professional relationships with children and their families, and collaborating effectively with coworkers.
Duties
- Provide secure, trusting, warm relationships through responsive interactions and positive discipline.
- Supervise children for safety and to support their growing awareness of their own capabilities.
- Observe and respond appropriately to the children’s needs, interests, and desires, in collaboration with teaching team.
- Model desired behaviors, including modeling good emotional expression and management.
- Be curious and open to learning through ongoing professional development.
- Follow all center policies, state regulation, and accreditation standards.
Requirements
- Completion of 12 Early Childhood credits or a CDA required.
- Ability to work well with others.
- A strong understanding of child development.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified.
- Must clear full background check.
- Must pass health screening.
