Summary

We seek innovative, professional, reliable candidates to join our team to implement a high quality play-based and nature-based early childhood curriculum. Candidate must have good communication skills, willingness to learn, and a strong interest in developing meaningful professional relationships with children and their families, and collaborating effectively with coworkers.

Duties

  • Provide secure, trusting, warm relationships through responsive interactions and positive discipline.
  • Supervise children for safety and to support their growing awareness of their own capabilities.
  • Observe and respond appropriately to the children’s needs, interests, and desires, in collaboration with teaching team.
  • Model desired behaviors, including modeling good emotional expression and management.
  • Be curious and open to learning through ongoing professional development.
  • Follow all center policies, state regulation, and accreditation standards.



Requirements

  • Completion of 12 Early Childhood credits or a CDA required.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • A strong understanding of child development.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified.
  • Must clear full background check.
  • Must pass health screening.
