Job Title: RN Medsurg\nFacility: Greeneville Community Hospital\nLocation: 1420 Tusculum Blvd Greeneville, TN 37745\nDuration: 3 months with possible extension\nShift: Nights 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)\n\nPay package:\nBlended pay: $ \n\nHourly on W2: $22\nHourly on Stipend: $41.13\nWeekly Taxable: $1056\nWeekly Non-Taxable: $3030\n\nSign on bonus $1000\n\nJob Description:\n•\tProvide direct, evidence-based nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions and post-surgical needs.\n•\tPerform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate care as needed.\n•\tAdminister medications, IV fluids, blood products, and wound care per provider orders and protocols.\n•\tManage multiple patients simultaneously, ensuring timely interventions, documentation, and coordination of care.\n•\tCollaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.\n•\tPrepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, and surgeries, while providing pre- and post-operative care and education.\n•\tAccurately chart assessments, interventions, and progress using electronic medical records (EMR), including EPIC.\n•\tProvide compassionate education and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, discharge plans, and follow-up care.\n•\tMaintain strict adherence to infection control, medication safety, and hospital protocols to promote high-quality patient outcomes.\n•\tParticipate in shift hand-offs, interdisciplinary rounds, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.\n•\tSupport new nurses and nursing students through precepting and mentoring as needed.\n\nRequired:\n•\tBLS,\n•\tTN RN License or Compact License\n•\t2 years of experience \n
