Controls Engineer
Location: Osage, IA first shift Monday to Friday
Salary: $70-110k DOE
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various industrial automation applications. This role requires a strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI development, and the integration of robotics into control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement control systems for industrial automation applications
- Develop and test PLC programs and HMI interfaces
- Integrate VFDs and motion control systems into automated processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize control system performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems and equipment
- Create and maintain documentation related to control system design and modifications
- Conduct training for staff on new control systems and technologies
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with controls, electrical work, internship, or technical training
- Familiarity with VFDs, robotics, and motion control systems
- PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting with Siemens, Rockwell, or Allen Bradley products
- Experience with CAD software
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
