Title: Assistant Business Development, Marketing and Public Relations Manager
Reports to: Business Development, Marketing and Public Relations Manager
Department: Projects
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary/Objective: The Assistant Business Development, Marketing and Public Relations Manager will assist in the preparation and development of proposal submissions. Additional responsibilities include marketing and public relations efforts for the company.
Essential functions include the following:
- Work alongside management and bid team to develop bid strategies, competitive advantages and winning themes.
- Identify opportunities for bid submissions and present them to management team.
- Provide assistance throughout all states of proposal submission process.
- Manage proposals throughout all stages from the sources sought to the actual proposal submission.
- Update and maintain a library of proposal documents and other information on the internal company database.
- Develop advertising and marketing strategies that promote products or services to specific audiences and build and maintain the image of the company overall.
- Develop event marketing strategies including budget management, coordination with vendors, and overall goal and objective setting.
- Creating and delivering of all marketing material, product development, public relations using all forms of media and communications, including but not limited to flyers, brochures, posters, banners, website development, etc.
- Develop public relations campaigns and media relations strategies.
- Building and maintaining key stakeholder, customer, and vendor relationships
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.

Competencies and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management or Communications is required.
- 3 years of direct experience required.
- Experience as a bid writer is preferred.
- Must be able to provide writing sample as requested.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hourly position. Hours of Operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. However, due to operational needs, may be required to work before or after normal hours of operations, on weekends or holidays.
