THIS POSITION IS MONDAY-THURSDAY 8:30-5:30 AND IS A TEMPORARY POSITION STARTING APPROXIMATELY 1-2-26 AND LASTING APPROXIMATELY 4 MONTHS.

Job Summary:
The Optician fills prescriptions for corrective lenses, fitting and adjusting eyeglasses and contact lenses for optimal vision and comfort. Assists patients with frame selection, providing advice on lens options, and ensures proper care and maintenance of eyewear. In addition, the Optician will managing inventory, process orders and maintain patient records.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two to three years’ experience in Optometry or Ophthalmology office setting preferred but can train on the job.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centered focus
- Organized, detailed and team oriented.
